About the project

Our client is a publicly-traded American telecommunications company The company is the second-largest television station operator in the United States by the number of stations, owning or operating a total of 193 stations across the country in over 100 markets.

We are developing a SAAS platform for promoting, monitoring and analytics of advertising in digital channels.

Our DevOps team is developing and supporting the infrastructure and CI/CD for our 7 product teams and participates in all DevOps activities for the platform.

Tasks in the position:

Collaborate with Software development team to deliver high-quality, high-throughput software
Manage and improve CI/CD processes for the development and production environments
Provide input and technical direction for frontend and backend systems
Be hands-on to help the team to design, develop, test, and deliver software
Research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies
Perform root-cause analysis of production errors
Participate in AWS Well-Architectured Framework implementation
No night on-calls

Requirements

We expect the successful candidate to have:

3+ years experience using: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Python, Linux (CentOS/RHEL)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Math; or Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience
Experience deploying high available services and web applications
Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English (B2+)
Experience with monitoring tools and with ELK stack
