Embedded Linux Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an Embedded Linux Developer to work at an equipped workplace in Ústí nad Orlicí or Brno, with the possibility of working outside the office (home office).

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and further develop our embedded Linux distribution (ICR-OS)
  

• Collaborate in a team with other developers, testers and electronics in the analysis and planning of project tasks
  

• Continue to develop professionally, study new components, technologies and approaches
  

• Work at an equipped workplace in Ústí nad Orlicí or Brno (according to your options and preferences), with the possibility of working outside the office (home office)
  

Requirements

• Knowledge of C language
  

• Knowledge of working with an oscilloscope, multimeter or logic analyzer
  

• Ability to understand hardware schematics or assembly drawings
  

• Good analytical and algorithmic skills
  

• Good English skills suited for an international working environment
  

• Valid CZ/EU work permit
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with Linux driver development
  

• Experience building embedded Linux (LTIB, Yocto)
  

• Knowledge of a scripting language such as Bash or Python
