You Are**

The Graphic Design Intern will work with the UST HealthProof Training Team’s technical writers and instructional designer to create visually appealing PowerPoint templates, images, layouts for training materials. The Graphic Design intern will report to the Instructional Designer and assist with the design and development of HealthProof graphics, image curation, development templates and backgrounds for training materials ranging from documentation to digital media. **

The Opportunity**

• Design and develop graphically aesthetic templates which reflect the HealthProof branding guidelines and nature of the training content.
• Work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Work under tight deadlines and in fast paced environment.
• Proactively communicate with manager and team members when in need of assistance or have questions.
• Assist instructional designer with design and development of animation.
• Assist instructional designer with design and development of template design for digital learning.
• Maintain a library of images, templates to share with the training team.
• Collaborate with trainers and technical writers to develop templates for facilitator and participant guides.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required. **

What You Need**

• Understanding of graphic design principles: alignment, proportion, color (RGB, CMYK, designing for digital/web), format types (.png, .jpg, etc.), vector vs. raster, white space, etc.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator (or similar graphic programs).
• Working knowledge of Vyond, or similar animation software.
• Working knowledge of MS Word.
• Advanced MS PowerPoint skills (including graphs, animations, transitions, and creating/formatting master page templates).
• Portfolio demonstrating experience using graphic design software to develop templates, images, etc.
• Excellent proofing and editing skills.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff regarding graphic design needs.
• Not afraid to ask questions and understand there is no such thing as a stupid question.
• Desire to learn.

Interviews will begin in January 2024

These positions are for the 2024 Summer Internship Season with an expected joining date in June 2024.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST Healthproof provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. **

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $18-$26 per hour**
