Job Location: Base location is negotiable with minimal travel to St. Louis, Missouri.

What You’ll Do**

  • Assist the Health Information Specialist Team through maintaining of medical records requests and disseminating as appropriate, tracking reports and care recommendations, assist HIS staff with medical review documentation, etc.
  • Send out Medical Records Request, mail records, file hard copies of records and upload records into OnBase for children in CD Custody
  • Provide support for required meetings and committees, specifically the Psychotropic Medication Advisory Committee (PMAC), and others by taking minutes/notes, preparing agendas, posting and sending out required information and follow up correspondence.
  • Assist with tracking required reports, medication reviews
  • Assist with tracking Center for Excellence treatment/care recommendations
  • Monitor PMAC and Medical Records email box
  • Assist with data clean up from various Research Reports for updating medical records and information in a child’s official file
  • Assist with notification of required medical reviews and coordination and scheduling of reviews with the Health Information Specialist team
  • Support research efforts with MoHealth Net Division and the managed care plan through record reviews and monitor compliance with eligibility notices.
  • Emailing medical community such as Doctors, nurses, clinicians, case managers directly assigned to cases in the alternative care unit, Health Information Specialist team, members of stakeholder committees such as medical professionals, attorneys, Judges, individuals with MoHealth net Division, foster parents, youth in custody.
  • Monitoring email boxes and determining appropriate response to questions or connecting to the right individual to resolve the question, monitors deadline for report submissions and oversight of support of required meetings and necessary tasks to ensure they are occurring.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

All You Need For Success

One or more years of experience as a Administrative Support Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.

OR **

Four or more years of office or related clerical experience; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.

Preferred Qualifications**

  • Ability to type quickly and accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
