Sr. System Analyst at Resource Informatics Group, Inc

Purpose:

Windchill Product team delivers strategic and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. This is a highly dynamic position responsible for direct business partner engagement to understand business needs, identify and design enabling features and enhancements, and deliver technical solutions within the Windchill PLM application portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enable key business and technology solutions within Windchill Product Team through continuously improving Windchill Product Team efforts, project delivery, and ongoing maintenance activities.
• End-to-end responsibility for solution delivery and operations – requirements, design, construct, test, implement and support core business and technology functions
• Interface with business customers to gather requirements and define, develop solutions meeting business requirements and IT architectural and development standards
• Maintain ongoing collaborative working relationship with business partners, IT services (database, data center, servers, desktop, networking, security), and software vendors
• Accountable for issue resolution, including diagnosis of problem, recommendations for workarounds, and defect correction
• Stay current on new, relevant PLM and peripheral technologies
• Create and maintain all required IT functional and technical documentation



Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of experience in business process, system analysis or implementation/config Trouble Shooting, Data Analysis, Data Integration and Reporting
• Strong functional and technical competency on PTC Windchill Application
• Previous experience of a large team with assignments in all phases of the software life-cycle (requirements, design, construct, test, support) and have strong skills in documenting work
• Proven ability to quickly troubleshoot issues using a sound and logical approach to deliver a valid solution
• Demonstrated ability to work with people in other areas across the enterprise (geographical and functional) to accomplish desired outcomes
• Versed in PTC's Windchill technologies and have the aptitude to rapidly learn new technology's
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems of diverse scope and complexity
• Demonstrates a broad knowledge of a variety of alternatives and their impact on the business unit
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience documenting and developing within a regulated industry
• Exceptional organizational & time management skills

Preferred:

• Experience working on an Agile Product Team
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies
• Experience in Windchill customization and Infrastructure
• Experience working as Windchill Functional Analysist
• Quick learner able to own and drive work autonomously with little supervision
