We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Performance Improvement Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services practice in one of our CohnReznick offices or virtually. **

YOUR TEAM.**

This position will support our rapidly growing Transaction Advisory Services group. This team conducts due diligence and supports clients across a wide range of industries. As a Performance Improvement Manager, you will work collaboratively with the TAS Tax practice leader to manage private equity and strategic buyers/sellers engagements on a full spectrum of middle-market acquisition and disposition transactions, including tax due diligence review, transaction structuring, research, and post-transaction planning and implementation/coordination. **

YOUR ROLE.**

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist with/lead operations due diligence projects with clients, in many cases working alongside both buy-side and sell-side Quality of Earnings (QoE) initiatives.
  • Complete in-depth financial analysis including creating integrated financial models and projections.
  • Contribute to Operating Model design efforts.
  • Identify high impact opportunities for EBITDA, cash management, and operational improvements, presenting compelling business-case driven recommendations from data, facts, and discussions with clients.
  • Assist with/lead initial rapid client diagnostics to identify major operational issues, options for performance improvement, and development of appropriate business cases.
  • Develop cost-justified roadmaps to implement major operational improvements.
  • Lead projects with clients to implement performance improvement findings and recommendations, managing small but agile teams through time-sensitive projects through completion.
  • Develop and implement a new operating plan to improve the business operational performance.

Your Experience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a Major or Minor in Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA strongly preferred. Course work/credential in Marketing a plus.
  • 4-7 years of relevant performance improvement, management consulting or M&A work experience.
  • Previous professional consulting / operations experience with a recognized strategy consulting firm and/or relevant corporate role.
  • Experience from either within Private Equity, Corporate Finance or Operations is highly desirable.
  • Action-oriented, decisive approach to work required, with the willingness to take a hands-on role to ensure the deliverables are met on time with high quality.
  • Strong written, oral, and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a team-oriented environment.
