Job Summary:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing new and update existing software for DYMO label printers across multiple platforms.

This position will:
  • Provide the opportunity to learn the latest technologies in the Microsoft stack
  • Provide the opportunity to learn and work in a variety of platforms including iOS and Android
  • Be part of a small focused team that will influence the future direction of DYMO Software.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree required
  • 1+ years of Software Development experience in C# required
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop application development (.NET WPF/Windows Forms) required
  • Demonstrates proficiency in UI Development
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of Software Design, Development, and best practices
  • Demonstrates strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates fluency in English
  • Acts as a highly self-motivated and detail-oriented player
  • Acts as a strong team player
  • Fast learner. Willing and able to quickly get up to speed with new technologies and skills
  • Experience with MVVM a plus, but not required
  • C++ and Java Script preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of printing systems, fonts or graphics a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies a plus
  • Experience in development of Xamarin applications is a plus
  • Experience in development in a cross-platform environment is a plus
  • Experience in development of InstallShield is a plus
