Cloud Architecture Design**

Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions based on industry best practices.
Collaborate with architects and other stakeholders to develop scalable and secure cloud architecture.

Deployment And Automation

Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration.

System Administration

Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of cloud-based systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime with responsibility for building and running it.

Security And Compliance

Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cloud security.

Collaboration And Communication

Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide scalable infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Documentation

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes. Provide training and support to other team members, as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education, Licensure or Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Work Experience Or Related Experience

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure
Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g, PowerShell, Node.js) for automation.
Proficiency in IaC technologies (e.g., Terraform, AWS Cloudformation).
Strong understanding of networking, security, and storage principles in a cloud environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.

Travel Requirements And Conditions

No travel is required.

Work Environment, Conditions and Demands

Work is generally performed in an office or remote environment in which there is only minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions.

Physical Requirements And Demands

Work requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Incumbent must be able to use a telephone or head set equipment and operate a keyboard and other office equipment. The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, incumbents are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, incumbents must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Incumbents may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
