In this position...**

The Ford Pro Business Intelligence & Analytics Developer should have a strong technical background in data engineering, architecture, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building curated datasets that will be used for business intelligence, APIs, and applications and a passion for Data, growth, and working with latest technologies such as Google BigQuery, Qliksense and Google Locker. **

Responsibilities**

What you'll do...

  • Work with structured and unstructured data to develop and deploy production datasets in Google BigQuery, and build reports using to Business Intelligence reports using QlikSense and Google Looker
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL to create tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
    • Document data dictionaries and entity relationship diagrams
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather user stories and developer data-driven products to support those user stories
    • Perform data checks and code reviews to ensure data quality/integrity from source to target

Qualifications

You'll have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data or Business Analytics, or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of SQL programming experience including creating tables, views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
  • 5+ years of experience with responsibilities such as data architecting, data modeling, data analysis, data manipulating or other similar data specific responsibilities.

Even better, you may have...

  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data or Business Analitics or related field
  • Experience as a Team leader, Mentor, or SME
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL programming and data architecture
  • Experience in an automotive or large enterprise.
  • Experience with Google Big Query, Qliksets and/or Google Looker
  • Comfortable working with unstructured and ambiguous information to create consumable data products.
  • Experience working with business intelligence products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
