Current game engines and servers cap out at around 100 players in a self-consistent instance, but the future of online games and metaverse experiences demands far more. Think, tens of thousands to millions of players and AI avatars!

We are looking for

We are looking for an experienced game engine developer who can support the development of Metagravity's core engine.

• You have at least five years of experience building AAA game engines
• This could be an Unreal engine or another C/C++ engine (eg Frostbite, Anvil, CryEngine)
• You may have had experience building physics engines or similar
• Strong understanding of resource management, build processes, and source control systems
• Solid debugging and optimisation skills in C++
• Deep understanding of low-level architecture, multi-thread programming

Your Education and Experience

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent
• Comfort working in an agile environment, contributing to team estimates and planning
• Ability to mentor other engineers and lead technical discussions

Location

This role can be based at any of the client's development hubs in Warsaw, Colombo, or London. Fully remote opportunities are available for exceptional candidates.
