Job Overview:

Mechanical design and analysis of an assigned scope of work in a project including specific complex deliverables with regards to HVAC Equipment. Work includes, among other things, conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, layouts, design calculations, specification development and supervising vendor packages for equipment and mechanical systems. **

Responsibilities**

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Specifies equipment in accordance with process and project requirements
Writes and handles equipment requisitions in accordance with project requirements
Makes technical evaluations of incoming quotations from bidders and checks same for completeness of scope and compliance with specifications
Reviews drawings, documents, and inspection & test procedures from the sellers
Play an active role in the integrated EPC work process as a member of the project team, for engineering, selection, production, fabrication, expediting, inspection, testing, delivery, shipment, installation and (pre)commissioning of materials

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

BSc Degree
10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with significant exposure to HVAC equipment
Needs to speak and write English
