As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who has a passion for Accounts Receivable to join our fast-paced and ever-changing Finance Team. This role will work within our operational finance team and collaborate closely with other members of the finance team and wider business.
The role itself will encompass a wide range of Accounts Receivable tasks as well as more specific industry-related tasks. We are looking for someone who is a recent graduate with the hunger and determination to learn or someone who has experience within Accounts Receivable, to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and enjoys working within a constantly evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Processing sales invoices - Generate customer invoices using internal platform and ERP system - VAT & Duty invoicing - Ensuring correct GL codes are used - Credit Control - Debt collection via telephone & email - Monitoring credit limits - Liaising with Customer Success team to manage customer accounts - Maintaining customer records - Escalating issues with payment behaviour - Bank reconciliations - Reconciling bank accounts across multiple currencies - Ad Hoc tasks - Assisting with answering customer queries - Adhering to finance requests from customers
Skills Knowledge and Expertise - Previous accounts receivable and credit control experience (Beneficial) - Understanding of basic accounts receivable principles (Beneficial) - Good Excel/Sheets knowledge - NetSuite knowledge (Beneficial) - A forward thinker who embraces change - Excellent organisational skills - Strong attention to detail - Proactive, can do attitude - Strong written and verbal communication skills; friendly manner on the phone and email - Holds themselves accountable
