This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to grow and develop while being a part of an innovative team that looks to have generational impact in diversifying the state’s workforce and supply chain. **

What You’ll Do**

Impact the State of Missouri by assisting senior leadership in operationalizing the Workforce Diversity Program and providing support to the minority-owned and woman-owned certification program. **

Responsibilities That Will Make An Impact**

  • Build relationships with Missouri’s executive departments to influence recruitment, retention, training, and upward mobility strategies to enhance the State’s workforce diversity
  • Serve as designated point-of-contact for questions regarding Missouri’s Workforce Diversity Program
  • Assist minority-owned and woman-owned businesses in acquiring business certifications
  • Support executive departments in implementing their workforce and supplier diversity initiatives
  • Maintain a directory of certified businesses and promote to executive departments to increase economic impact to minority-owned and woman-owned businesses
  • Create reports and dashboards for the purpose of evaluating effectiveness of programs and offering solutions for improvement
  • Participate in outreach efforts
  • Provide support for other initiatives to advance the mission of OEO

  • Knowledge of employment laws that impact workforce diversity
  • Outstanding attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Enjoys collaborating with others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Tableau is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to travel including occasional overnight stays, plus possession of a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
