Together, let's spearhead transformative retail projects and shape the future of our industry.What you’ll do:· Lead development and delivery of solution architecture for Retail projects, ensuring alignment with IT Blueprint, standards, and business objectives.· Drive detailed solution design process for Retail, aligning with project architecture and functional requirements.· Collaborate across teams, serving as a trusted advisor for ongoing stakeholder engagement and creating architectural artifacts.· Maintain Retail-specific architecture, roadmaps, and standards, contributing to reference architectures and assessing future impacts on Retail solutions.Who you’ll work with:The Team: You will work closely with business analysts, operational support team members, integration SMEs, and application SMEs within the retail system architecture space and will work independently under the supervision of the Principal Solution Architect. Who you are:**You are looking for a career in Information Technology and: - Have 8 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience working as a Solution Architect that includes several major solution implementations. Leading complex, cross-functional solution creation that is Retail focused (POS, in-store systems, eCommerce, etc.), as part of a waterfall and/or agile-light style project team is required. - Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered) - Experience with one or more of the following POS solutions is required: - NCR Emerald, - ISS45, - StorePoint - Tronia - Mi9 Retail - A combination of experience and specialized training with cloud-hosted solutions, ServiceNow, Security incident management and standard integration platforms would be considered an asset. - Certification in TOGAF 9.2 would be considered an asset. - Experience designing solutions using various integration (API, microservices, MQ, etc.) architectures. Along with experience designing n-tier solutions using on-premises applications/infrastructure and cloud native applications / infrastructure would be considered an asset.
