Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EHS Technical Writer to join our team. As an EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing technical safety documentation sold to clients. These documents will address environmental, health, and safety concerns, compliance, and various aspects within the clients' company environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients have accurate and up-to-date information to meet their EHS and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, environmental science, EHS, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the EHS field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations and guidelines, such as OSHA and EPA.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with computers.
  • Adaptability and accountability.
  • Strong typing skills.

Requirements:

  • Remote | Philippine-wide
  • Full-time Graveyard Shift
  • 5 days a week, 2 days off, rdot when needed
  • Salary for this position will depend on the candidate's level of qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Write and Copy-Edit EHS Technical Documentation:
    --Create new content as needed to meet regulatory or online auditing platform requirements.
    --Copy-edit current content, making necessary revisions for grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors while retaining the standard internal format.
    --Review content against regulatory, federal, and state requirements to verify compliance with current EHS regulations, making edits or revisions as necessary for compliance.
    --Review content within multiple formats, including LMS platforms, digital training kits, safety meetings, safety manuals, and pocket manuals, for necessary edits or revisions.
    --Review safety manual content against multiple online auditing platforms to retain compliance with auditing requirements and processes of platforms.
  • Compliance and Regulation Knowledge:
    --Stay updated with the latest EHS regulations and guidelines, such as OSHA and EPA, and ensure that all technical safety documentation reflects these requirements.
    --Apply knowledge of EHS regulations and guidelines to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the content created and edited.
    --Ensure that EHS technical documentation addresses safety, compliance, and beyond at multiple levels within the client's company environment.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    --Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to gather information and clarify technical concepts for documentation.
    --Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and tailor the documentation accordingly.
    --Communicate effectively with clients to address their questions and concerns regarding EHS technical documentation.
  • Project Management:
    --Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and delivery of high-quality EHS documentation.
    --Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and adjust workflow as needed.
