Job description

Job Summary:

We are a Pre-Series A funding crypto, web 3, and mobile app company in the sports industry, specifically Pickleball. We are seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join our executive team and lead our marketing efforts. We are offering stock options and other very attractive incentives to the right candidate who is willing to invest sweat equity into the project for 3 to 6 months.

The CMO will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention across all our platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Manage and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including social media, email, and search
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and maintain our brand identity and messaging across all channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and design, to ensure our marketing efforts align with product development and business goals
  • Manage and develop the marketing team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Strong understanding of web 3, NFTs digital marketing, including social media, email, and search
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using data to inform marketing decisions
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
