Interior Designer

We seek an experienced Interior Designer passionate about crafting beautiful and practical living spaces. Your role will be pivotal in leading projects from concept to completion, working closely with project coordinators, project managers, engineers, and our build team. As a motivated team builder, you'll be crucial in bringing our projects to life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and advance design through sketches, physical models, electronic models, diagrams, massing studies, and other visual formats to express the design intent and communicate to the project team, client, and building user groups.

- Design and execute interior projects, especially kitchens and bathrooms, including additions.

- Produce detailed floor plans, electrical plans, interior elevations, material specifications, and 3D renderings.

- Utilizes BIM technologies to develop three-dimensional models of buildings and their components.

- Collaborate with the design team, clients, estimators, project managers, and the build team to communicate design intent effectively.

- Work directly with the team to specify and order cabinets and produce full interior specifications for finishes.

- Lead clients through the design process, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

- Collaborating with the Design Lead and Project Manager to execute projects seamlessly from design to completion

- Overseeing interior design aspects for assigned projects, ensuring a harmonious blend of aesthetics and functionality

- Bringing concepts to life through detailed drawings, floor plans, and stunning renderings

- Working closely with the Design Lead/Project Manager to refine and approve floor plans, maintaining a keen eye for detail

- Managing project workflow efficiently, meeting tight deadlines with creative solutions

- Ensuring quality control by working closely with Project Coordinators and Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle

- Conducting weekly site inspections to guarantee adherence to design specifications

- Actively participating in construction meetings, aligning design intent with execution

- Participates and presents in design critiques and pin-ups.

- Understands and coordinates building systems and materials to ensure compatibility with the design intent.

- Implements sustainable design principles into the design and environment.

- Participates in the development of the program and other pre-design efforts.

- Ensures that design intent is maintained through documentation and construction.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience showcasing your creative prowess

- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on design experience

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, or comparable programs

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with finesse
