Job description

  • Job purpose: 

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Developer is responsible for developing and deploying custom solutions that integrate with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. This position will be part of a cross-functional team supporting a number of customers in the manufacturing industry, as well as some Fortune 500 companies. The ideal candidate has experience working on large scale implementations with tight deadlines and an understanding of enterprise applications development best practices such as Agile/Scrum methodology, testing processes, and software design patterns.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience developing web applications with strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML,
    CSS and other design technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise business applications and databases such as: MS Project, Excel, Access,
    Dynamics CRM, Dynamics 365 etc.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365, SharePoint and/or SQL Server experience preferred
  • Experience with SharePoint preferred
  • Three years of experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics CRM a plus.
  • Experience with the following Dynamics solutions: CRM, CRM Online, and NAV a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops custom solutions by leveraging the Microsoft Dynamics 365 API and using the Microsoft
    Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement API for partner interactions with customers
  • Troubleshoots partner system issues by following procedures that match the partner installation as
    closely as possible to minimize disruptions to the customer and prevent lost revenue.
  • Maintains a knowledge of and uses the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Product Feed.
  • Trains partner personnel on Microsoft Dynamics 365 system features, Collaborates with business
    analysts and other teams in defining functional requirements
  • May participate in the development of various software components and automation tools.
  • Compiles updates to existing systems or applications.
  • Troubleshoots bugs and other software issues.
  • May write code that will be used by Microsoft Dynamics 365| C# to assist in the deployment process.
