Regional Specification Director - Renewable technology HVAC products -> social housing / house builders

Area: Central (Midlands)

The Company hiring a Regional Specification Director 

Our client are a major manufacturer within the HVAC market. They have built a formidable brand that is known for excellence and innovation with strong high-quality service back up. As a manufacturer, they produce some of the most technologically advanced products on the market, keeping pace with demand for green energy efficient solutions. This employer have won multiple industry accreditations and awards and are regarded as an elite employer that boast a state of the art training academy that serves as a platform to develop the knowledge of employees and customers. This organisation have very low staff turnover and have clear career paths into ore senior positions.  As they continue to grow and raise the bar in the renewable heating sector, our client is looking for a Regional Specification Director to lead a team of Specification Sales / Key Account Managers.

The Role of Regional Specification Director

  • This is a people management / field / home based role.
  • Lead and manage a team of Key Account Managers/ Specification Sales Managers (who are tasked with winning, tracking, breaking and protecting social housing specifications)
  • Lead a regional team of Key Account Managers to achieve overall Specification
    Business short- and long-term development objectives
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with key clients & partners to pull through
    Specification volumes, targeting the regional sales teams to ensure Regional Social
    Landlord and contractor focus.
  • Focus and steer the Key Account Manager teams attention on key areas for growth
    within sector whilst ensuring reporting is accurate.
  • Maintain regional forecasting, financial support and expenditures along other sales
    expenditures within the allocated budget.
  • Develop the sales team by providing effective training, setting and tracking clear KPIs
    on an annual & quarterly basis to achieve sales turnover and market share results
  • Implement clear communications channels to get best results in route to market for the
    specification sector.

The Requirements

  • Strong leadership/ people management skills with a proven sales track record and a deep understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • A comprehensive knowledge base and a clear understanding of the challenges in the
    housing / house builder sector and route to market.
  • You will be a motivational leader capable of inspiring a team of Key Account Mangers
    to achieve and exceed objectives.

The Package on offer for the Regional Specification Director

  • £65,000 basic
  • 20% OTE / Bonus
  • Full Electric / Hybrid or opt out car allowance (choice)
  • Private BUPA healthcare
  • 25 days annual leave plus stats
  • 6% pension company contribution
