IT User Support Specialist for systems, software and hardware – Canada (remote)

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading international emerging technologies company with 200+ team members. They support global technology initiatives and best-in-class security operations in over 15 countries throughout North America, Europe and Asia. They offer digitised security and asset management services and pride themselves on their excellent reputation, providing operations across multiple facets of the Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Digital currency sectors.

As part of their growth strategy, they are looking to bring on board a fully remote Canadian based IT User Support Specialist (systems, software and hardware) with immediate effect.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

• To provide technical assistance and support in incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Respond to queries over email/corporate messengers/phone calls and text messages from users seeking help

• Install, modify, diagnose and repair (where possible) computer hardware and software.

• Track requests and issues in the enterprise ticketing system (via Jira) and asset database redirecting problems to proper resources

• Escalating unresolved queries to the next level of support

JOB DUTIES

• 2 years and above experience in IT user support

• Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

• Knowledge of help desk software, ticketing and issue tracking systems and remote-control software

• Good knowledge of setting up, configuring and using both Windows and Mac platforms

• Strong knowledge of API

• Good knowledge of office applications including Antivirus products, MS Office, Adobe products, e-mail clients etc.

• Strong client-facing and communication skills with strong customer service focus

REMUNERATION

CAD55, 000 to CAD65, 000 plus a whole host of benefits
