Regional Senior Social Media Executive

What The Job Covers

Account Management & Project Management  

  • Be client’s day-to-day point of contact and partner for all things pertaining to social media
  • Management of social media and influencer engagement efforts  
  • Assist in growing the social media business through pitches and proposals  

 

Social Media & Outreach Strategy and Management 

  • Spearhead and lead all Social Media efforts in the local market and act as a guardian of brand’s content and social strategy for local market’s social channels.
  • Working closely with other social media team members, to ensure local brands efforts is aligned accordingly. 
  • Keeping up to date with brand’s industry and social platforms – making proactive recommendations based on trends and insights.
  • Be the brand ambassador, attending events: to create unique branded content for social (press events/launches/interviews of bloggers and talent etc.) 
  • Set up and manage local retailer/influencer/brand partnerships and competitions on social platforms.
  • Community management across channels – responding and replying to comments and queries in a timely manner.
  • Bring together data, research and understanding to create tailored social media strategies.

 

Content Management 

  • Write, plan and schedule monthly content calendar based on the brand’s editorial and marketing activities, local events / occasions and content pillars. Own the monthly social calendar and plan and deliver content for the month.
  • Identify key conversation points / topics of interest by community channeled through Direct Messages / community groups, use insights gathered to plan upcoming content for Social Media. 
  • Help with creative ideas around improving our social presence and be responsible for keeping on top of social media developments and trends in your market.
  • Work closely with the Social Media team with our creative production team to bring original, highly creative and engaging content ideas to life through social media content 

 

Reporting:  

  • Monitor and analyze social media and outreach performance, subsequently derive insights, learnings and recommendations through our bi-weekly updates with the client and monthly reporting 
  • To monitor and track the performance of strategies ensuring continuous high levels of performance. 


Who We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of social media, community management, influencer engagement or related position
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Fluent in English
  • Prior experience at a marketing role either in an agency or on the brand side
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
