Do you want to impact educators and institutions around the globe? The Creative Marketing Specialist at McGraw-Hill will play a central role in supporting marketing activities from the International Higher Education Growth Enablement Team, including digital marketing activities, marketing collateral creation, copywriting and corporate communications. Ad-hoc support for regional and global projects will also be required.

This role requires a candidate experienced in content marketing, digital marketing and graphic design, as well as executing tactical day-to-day product marketing deliverables. This individual will work closely with the central and regional marketing teams to create compelling marketing materials and evaluate their effectiveness. This person will also play an active role in supporting the execution of regional website administration and landing page development. **

This position can work remotely in Canada with the expectation to be on-site in the Toronto office at least once a month.**

What you will be doing:

  • Identify and prioritize common regional marketing collateral needs for ISE and frontlist product and create content (digital flyers, video, flipbooks, email marketing assets, web assets) to support regional sales strategies and local marketing teams.
  • Support the digital marketing strategy and execution of assets designed to enhance customer retention for MH digital platforms. Ensure timely and effective updates on these efforts to regions.
  • Provide digital marketing team support as needed in the form of graphic design, marketing automation, website administration and maintenance.
  • Support regional marketing teams with localized collateral requests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the International Higher Education business from teams such as regional marketing, sales, product and implementation to leverage learnings and inform marketing efforts.
  • Support the deployment of corporate communication efforts to the International Higher Education team.

What you can bring to the role:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a digital marketing or a marketing support/coordinator role
  • Knowledge of digital marketing principles including digital content, SEO, social, video
  • Experience deploying campaigns with Marketo and/or marketing automation tools
  • Experience with GTM campaign design and content
  • Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) and strong collaborator
  • Excellent computer skills and proven ability to pick up new technology quickly
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Willing to “roll up your sleeve” to get things done
  • Experience preferred: HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Magento, Marketo, SEMRush, Google Analytics
  • BA/Higher education degree, preferably in marketing or related field
