Job description

Position: Accrual Accountant


Duration/Why position is open: 6 month Temp-to-Perm with the current intention to convert this individual **

Start Date : January 8th

Compensation : $35-$45 per hour target range ($85,000-$95,000 on an annual basis)

Work Environment**

The Accrual Accountant position reports into the current operating Controller and the Director of Finance. This particular position is accrual heavy and about 90% of one's work load will be involved in accruals, as that is where the current gap on the team is. Additionally, there is AP support that this person can assist in as needed. The company needs a strong general ledger accountant that has extensive experience working with accruals to step in and assist as the company continues to grow at a rapid pace and work through new exciting projects and implementations. **

Job Description**

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Run Pending Bills Report & Open PO Report (day 2/3 of monthly close)
  • Analyze assigned lines in the Accrual Analysis for accrued expenses (day 3-4 of monthly close)
  • Work with IT team on fixed asset accruals (day 3-4 of monthly close)
  • Booking Shuttle Sheet entries for additional accrual adjustments that come from FP&A
  • Finalizing the accrual analysis for balance sheet reconciliation purposes
  • Pulling together invoice and supports for audit requests
