Title: Growth Lead

Location: Remote with some travel, including D.C. Area, Customer Sites, and events.

Overview:

We are looking for a strong cross-functional candidate to join our growth team focused on federal. The Federal Business Development Leader will be responsible for driving new business, as well as identifying additional opportunities within our existing customer base. Will work closely with our proposal and capture teams to build compelling solutions for federal agencies including the DoD, IC and civilian agencies. The Federal Business Development Lead will work with software and/or cloud focused teams within the federal space and identify target customers to grow Rackner's technical capabilities. Build and foster trusted relationships with key decision makers and position Rackner to win opportunities. The Business Development Lead will deliver presentations to key agency personnel, execute a strategy and development plan, and work with our founding team to achieve growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is extremely passionate about the space, has a "hunter" mentality, a technical background and has worked in the past with software or cloud-focused teams in the federal government, in either a full-time capacity or in a leadership position at a government contractor.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • B.S. ideally in a technical field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Requisite Skills/Abilities:

  • Technical background of some kind is a big plus
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and CI/CD patterns
  • Understanding of the Software Factory model a huge plus
  • Experience with programs that use applied AI techniques a plus, but not required
