Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reporting Analyst with Power BI experience and an expert to join our team. As a Power BI Specialist, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, helping our organization make data-driven decisions. If you are passionate about data analytics and visualization and possess a deep understanding of Power BI, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's success.

Position Overview:

Working with the Executive Team and various Team Leaders, you will be in charge of designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as assuring data veracity, visual excellence, and user satisfaction. And while we said “Goodbye BPO” in our headline, you’ll need to have a good understanding of the BPO industry and Call Center KPIs while you work from the comfort of your home!
This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build AUTOMATED reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Work closely with various teams to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
  • Provide insights and make recommendations based on the data.
  • Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design and also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
  • Collect required data, analyze outcomes using statistical approaches, and provide ongoing reports
  • Recognize, evaluate, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work with business stakeholders to collect and understand data requirements.
  • Create interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively explain insights.
  • Create data models and establish relationships between various data sources to enable efficient data analysis.
  • Implement data cleansing, data validation, and data transformation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
  • Integrate Power BI reports and dashboards with other corporate tools and applications to facilitate seamless data flow and automation.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues within Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Implement best practices to enhance report loading and rendering times.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and colleagues on Power BI usage and best practices.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, proactively identifying and addressing data issues.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing Power BI solutions based on user feedback and changing business needs.

Nice to have:

  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into Power BI using Power Query.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices.
  • Create documentation for Power BI solutions, including data models, report design, and data sources.
  • Establish and maintain data governance practices, including data lineage, version control, and metadata management.
  • Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to optimize data retrieval and storage.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Specialist or similar role in a BPO environment and very familiar with all the KPIs and other management and executive/business dashboard reports
  • Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
  • Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Experience in data modeling and designing scalable data architectures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good report writing and presenting skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • We expect you to possess an analytical mindset with a creative approach to tasks and the ability to find patterns and correlations when dealing with big volumes of information.
