Job Description

We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist / Analyst to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets. Your expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization will be instrumental in unlocking the value hidden within our clients' data.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, clean, and preprocess large and complex datasets from various sources
  • Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze data and extract actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain predictive models, algorithms, and scoring systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business problems and data analysis goals
  • Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through data visualizations and reports
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization based on data analysis
  • Work closely with data engineers and software developers to deploy and integrate data science solutions into production systems
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and advancements in data science and analytics
  • Provide guidance and support to teams on data-related matters

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong background in data analysis and modeling
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools and techniques
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, or SciPy
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
