Job description

Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Plumbing Designer to join our talented team of Mechanical and Industrial Engineers. As part of our global platform, you will work to provide innovative solutions to clients across the world. In this role, you will work on creating and designing plumbing systems for residential and commercial buildings.You will work with a cross-functional team of architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers, utilizing your knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices in designing safe and reliable systems.

Responsabilities:

• Provide plumbing system design support for projects

• Provide input for continuous improvement of designing processes

• Continue to develop design and drafting skills

Engineering

• Work with Project Managers on assigned design and drafting tasks

• Work with Project Engineers to execute design tasks

• Ensure design complies with internal design standards

Requirements

• Experience with design of typical building plumbing systems including domestic water,

waste/vent, and storm piping systems

• Proficient knowledge of International Plumbing Code

• Proficient in MS Office

• Proficient in Autodesk Revit

• Minimum one year experience with plumbing system design (domestic, sanitary, storm)

• Ability to travel occasionally

• Experience with design of specialty systems such as laboratory gases, acid waste/vent,

and cryogenic systems

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD
