What do we expect from you?

A unique aspect of this position at Circana is that you will work for the team serving the UK market. Together with the team, consisting of people from the Netherlands and England, you will work closely with the Circana office in England to provide our customers with the best possible data in a logical and correct way. As database administrator you are responsible for organizing customer databases and models. In doing so, you apply proactive and reactive data management in collaboration with other business units. Your goal is to ensure that all databases are delivered on time and correctly!

What does a typical workday look like?

It's Monday morning, time to get up and make an impact! Over a cup of coffee, you review the latest trends in the FMCG sector. It's quarter to nine and you take a quick look at your schedule for the week. It's production week 3 and your database needs to be updated with the latest products, and there are some changes planned. That means you'll be working hard this week. Great!

The day starts with a brief 15-minute stand-up with the team to set priorities, ask for or offer support, and discuss the progress of the production week. You then review which clients you will be supporting within your portfolio today. Before you get started on that, handle the questions from our Client Service team.

Be sure to set aside some time for our Casual Team Meeting. We regularly reserve half an hour to catch up or play an online game. After all, there has to be room for fun too!
