As the Mobile App Product Manager at Circana, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, development, and growth of our suite of mobile apps. Your primary focus will be to understand user needs, design delightful experiences, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality mobile app features. You will be responsible for defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring that our mobile apps remain at the forefront of the industry. Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product vision for our mobile apps. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and user feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders, including App Management and Engineering teams, to gather and define product requirements. Conduct thorough market research and user analysis to inform product decisions.
- Product Development and Execution: Work closely with Engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable plans and user stories. Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
- User Experience and Design: Champion user-centric design principles and collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually appealing app interfaces. Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on design improvements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and user insights to make informed product decisions. Monitor app performance, analyze user behavior, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Project Management: Effectively manage project timelines, milestones, and resources to ensure on-time delivery of product releases. Address potential roadblocks and challenges proactively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, progress, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the app's performance, user engagement, and overall user experience. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Content Creation: Generate ideas, gather raw material and draft copy for the creation of consumer messaging.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread copy, verify functionality prior to app release/release dates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Mobile App Product Manager or a similar role within a B2C mobile app space.
- Strong understanding of mobile app development processes and platforms (iOS and Android).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
- Familiarity with Jira and/or Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for technology, mobile applications, and creating exceptional user experience.

This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
