    • Understand and analyze requirements including identifying any gaps or missing information needed to perform testing activities.

    • Test cases planning, development, and execution (Field and Bench based).

    • Analyze executed test cases and confirm that the software behavior is conforming to the requirements documents.

    • Report findings and bugs to the defect management system.

    • Report major findings (System/software Issues) to customers.

    • Communicate testing project status for Projects and R&D Management and solve conflicts.

    • Perform test automation.

    • Contribute in defining the testing strategy.

    • Conduct technical reviews on testing artifacts for the process, company testing strategy and standards compliance.

    • Review testing related change requests and provide estimates based on related standard estimation models or experience based.

    • Design and deploy test benches according to the customer's requirements.

    • Communicate effectively with other teams and understand the technical aspects.

    • Follow the configuration management process.

    • Maintain Avelabs quality standards for project's deliverables.

    • Suggest and implement innovative solutions for project challenges.

    • Prepare and conduct technical training.

    • Handle customer challenges and other project stakeholder ‘s communications.

    • Highlight opportunities that can increase the scope of the current project tasks.


Job requirements

Job requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in automotive validation position.

    • University degree in Computer, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.

    • Strong understanding of software integration testing and software validation.

    • Experience in Embedded systems and Microcontrollers.

    • Experience in automotive electronics products on system/software level.

    • Experience in requirements and testing management (e.g., using DOORS/JIRA).

    • Experience in automotive bus technologies and diagnostics.

    • Experience with Vector tools (CANoe, vTeststudio, CAPL scripting).

    • Experience in communication with customer for requirements analysis and refinement.

    • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

    • Very Good programming skills (C and Python).

    • Test Bench development and deployment is a plus.

    • Experience in working with NI/dSPACE benches is a plus.

    • ISTQB certifications is a plus

    • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).

    • German language is a plus.
