Job description

Minimum Required Qualification:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Experience in an Accounts/Payroll environment (minimum of 4 years)
  • SAP and Payspace experience
  • Good Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Accounting diploma would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the efficient, accurate and timely payment, and query resolution for all areas of responsibility
  • Reconcile loan information
  • Generate monthly reports on all payments
  • Reconcile General Ledger salary accounts
  • Monthly journal entry management
  • Posting of payroll accounts
  • Reconcile vendor and balance sheet accounts
  • Effective self-management and performance ownership
  • Weekly cashflow forecast
  • Payroll recons between SAP and Payspace
  • Disability payroll management between fund and payroll
  • Liaison between Financial Managers and Accountants
  • Management of Commission payments prior to processing for payment
  • Management of Statutory payments for all regions and countries
  • Namibian Taxes
  • Management of the Workmans Compensation (WCA) and COIDA processes and payments
  • Audit Packs and the liaison with the Auditors
