We’re looking for a Systems Administrator II to join our team! As a Systems Administrator II, you’ll engage in various tasks, including account creation and maintenance, system monitoring, security tracking, and user support across all client networks.

The Details about the Systems Admin II position:

  • Location: Remote
  • Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, coverage 10:00pm CST - 7:00am CST (11pm - 8am EST/8pm - 5am PST)
  • Pay: $75K - $80K on an annual basis

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Proactively monitoring and managing client networks using advanced tools
  • Accepting and resolving escalations from Level I Administrators, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Monitoring server performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Creating and enforcing server configuration standards
  • Installing, updating, and decommissioning server software and applications
  • Tracking and managing server storage capacity
  • Recommending and implementing hardware/software upgrades to meet performance demands
  • Configuring network settings (IP, DNS, routing protocols) across multiple environments
  • Administering Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Providing technical support to users and assisting with hardware installations and minor repairs
  • Collaborating with IT teams to maintain strong network security
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field (required)
  • 5+ years of experience in network/system administration
  • MCSE certification (required), A+ and OEM equipment certs preferred
  • Familiarity with ASTEA, VMWare, M365, and Azure
  • Linux experience is a highly preferred
  • Excellent soft skills—you’ll be client-facing and need strong communication and time management abilities
  • A team-first mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
