What You’ll Be Doing:

Job Title: SaaS Administrator, Enterprise Applications

Job Summary:

The SaaS Administrator is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of SaaS applications across the organization. This includes discovering, optimizing, securing, and governing SaaS usage to maximize business value and ensure compliance. The Saas Administrator will also lead the implementation and administration of a SaaS Management Platform (SMP), integrating it with existing IT systems and processes.

Essential Functions: 

  • Manage the SaaS life cycle:
    • Discover SaaS usage
    • Manage SaaS configuration policies
    • Optimize SaaS entitlements
    • Automate SaaS-related employee onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Measure and publish reports on SaaS usage and costs for IT leadership
    • Ensure SaaS usage adheres to company and security policies
  • Own and administer the SMP, including:
    • Tool deployment and maintenance
    • Configuration and customization
    • Alignment with business and IT requirements
    • Reporting dashboards
    • Role-based user access management
  • Integrate SMP with Jira CMDB, identity and security tools.
  • Develop and manage the catalog of SaaS applications.
  • Automate life cycle management of SaaS accounts
  • Create, publish and communicate knowledgebase articles for use by IT support staff to enhance their ability to resolve incidents; and implement changes to minimize IT support overhead.
  • Integrate SaaS management into various IT processes (e.g., ITSM, IAM, ITAM) to improve the quality and stability of SaaS apps.
  • Collaborate with digital workplace engineering & security teams to establish and document SaaS configuration, security controls, compliance requirements and processes to continually identify vulnerabilities in configuration and noncompliant usage of SaaS apps.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations and SaaS administration
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with ITSM, IAM, and CMDB systems
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, including the ability to manage and prioritize tasks while maintaining a service-oriented work ethic.
  • Must be very detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently to support multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SaaS Management Platforms
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python)

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • ITIL® Foundation Certification

Mandatory Requirements:

Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
