Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with Optometry schools and residency directors at teaching hospitals
  • Assist with local sales to general market
  • Support dealers in USA and Canada to assist with sales to institutions, faculty, and students
  • Meet sales goals for designated accounts
  • Understand and adapt to product needs on a school-by-school basis
  • Support students and faculty at schools by executing on repairs/replacements, answering product questions, etc.
  • Perform product presentations and/or demos
  • Collaborate with Keeler marketing team on strategies, sales programs, and incentives to attract new sales and clients
  • Collaborate with Keeler product management team to provide VOC from institutional market
  • Travel to Optometry schools and Ophthalmology teaching hospitals as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred
  • Strong ability to create trusting relationships with clients
  • Skilled in working with different functions and effectively coordinate activities to achieve results
  • Team player with excellent organizational, communications and written skills as well as strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications

This role is an exempt, salaried position with normal work hours from 8:30AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday; hours may vary and flexibility is a plus during peak times and when alternate coverage is needed. Travel is required and will impact work hours.
