We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with a real passion for leading and developing best-in-class teams to lead one of our Mid-Market Account Executive team. You will manage a team of Account Executives who sell our SaaS products to Mid-Market segment prospects.   
   
The Manager, Sales is a high impact position within Payscale’s Revenue Organization. In this role you'll work closely with our Sales teams to bring in new clients, expand relationships with existing clients, and work closely with services and support teams to ensure these new partnerships are successful.  
   
In this role, you will:
  • Responsible for day-to-day inside sales operations with focus on revenue and activity achievement
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the inside sales organization to ensure sales revenue, pipeline and targets are met and/or exceeded
  • Report on inside sales performance to management and records of all sales activity throughout the sales cycle
  • Work with product marketing teams to present services through customer calls or web presentations
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute inside sales strategies, nurturing, lead generation and revenue campaigns
  • Define, implement, and manage productivity of your team  
  • Empower your team to make decisions that get results for their customers  
  • Responsible for the career and skill development of your team  
  • Lead your team on proactive outbound sales and lead-qualification, calls 
  Qualifications 
  • Shown success with managing, motivating and developing an inside sales team
  • Experience with prospecting, lead generation/qualification, and customer/prospect follow-up
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills required  
  • Experience with presenting product materials, sales webinars and seminars as required  
  • Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience  
  • 3+ years of Inside Sales Management or leadership experience in technology/software, human capital technology a plus  
Tools:
  • Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Tech stack: Outreach, Gong, ZoomInfo, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chilipiper
  • MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint 

Compensation 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $103,800 - $155,6000 with a $110,000 variable. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
