About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping and must be proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment runs accurately and on time.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to manage accounting data and workflows.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, ideally in a remote setting.
  • Must be able to work the graveyard shift based on US Pacific Time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is required.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with US accounting and businesses.
  • Experience with payroll, sales tax, or inventory accounting is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Fully remote; must have a reliable internet connection.
