Job Description:

Our Group Product Manager, Data will play a key role in product leadership, supporting Elite’s data-driven initiatives that transform legal technology. This remote position is ideal for a strategic, customer-obsessed leader who excels at the intersection of data, technology, and business. The role involves setting product vision, guiding cross-functional execution, and leading a team of Product Managers to deliver innovative and impactful data products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for Elite’s data product portfolio.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Business Analysts, providing mentorship and driving a high-performance culture.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, for data-focused products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, and customer success to deliver aligned, high-impact initiatives.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Establish and manage structured roadmaps, OKRs, and KPIs to ensure product success.
  • Advocate for data product strategy and secure executive alignment and resourcing.
  • Guide product teams in backlog prioritization and decision-making frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous learning.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data management, data analysis, or product-related roles, with at least 3 years in a product leadership capacity.
  • Proven success in owning and scaling complex, data-driven SaaS or enterprise products.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align product direction with company objectives.
  • Experience leading product vision, roadmap planning, and KPI-driven execution.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders across engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, advanced analytics tools, or AI-powered product features (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, manage trade-offs, and operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills to convey product vision and business value to executive stakeholders.
  • Passion for mentorship, team development, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.
  • Experience working in high-growth startups or scaling organizations through periods of rapid change.
  • Understanding of legal industry workflows, regulatory compliance in data management, or experience in legal tech (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, or data modeling to effectively partner with engineering and data teams.
