Position Available: Junior Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Malaysia (100% REMOTE)

Reporting to: Headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia (100% REMOTE)


Role Overview: 

We are currently seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to meticulously manage our suppliers and ensure the quality is delivered. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the finish date is accurate, collaborating closely with suppliers and headquarter team, and ensuring the timely and efficient availability of products in our portfolio. Your proficiency in analyzing supplier performance to give feedback, negotiating supplier agreements, and optimizing your quality understanding will be vital to our continued success. 


 What You’ll Do:

  • You have previous experience in the quality control and/or the furniture industry.
  • You have accurate colour acuity.
  • Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work well independently and efficiently without direct supervision and to work effectively as a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • Basic computer knowledge with the ability to operate a tablet and simple data entry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to deal with difficult situation with tact and professionalism.
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions.
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • You seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical, or related field is preferred. 
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on furniture specifications and the ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in data entering, good sense of high-end quality, and using analytics tools.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing supplier relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficient in English
