Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the VP of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and operationalizing high-impact partnerships across the insights, ad tech, data, and AI ecosystems.

This role is ideal for a cross-functional leader with deep industry relationships, technical fluency, and a sharp eye for business opportunities that create long-term value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Survey Platform Partnerships

  • Establish and expand partnerships with survey programming and reporting platforms to ensure that Dynata’s sample is natively integrated and easily purchasable on partner platforms.
  • Drive reciprocal integrations that embed partners’ scripting and programming tools into Dynata’s core platform to enhance client experience and stickiness.
  • Drive integration of Dynata’s quality solution into scripting platforms.

2. Ad Tech & Activation Partnerships

  • Develop and nurture strategic alliances with ad tech platforms (DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, ID providers, etc.) to power Dynata’s audience activation and media measurement offerings.
  • Collaborate with product and data science teams to ensure data fidelity, scale, and privacy compliance across integrations.

3. Data Enrichment Partnerships

  • Identify and structure deals with data companies (e.g., retail, purchase, location, behavioral data providers) to enrich Dynata’s datasets.
  • Build and manage connections that enable deeper attribution, targeting, and ROI analysis across research and marketing use cases.

4. AI & Technology Partnerships

  • Scout and engage with AI companies offering products and technologies that can enhance Dynata’s core business—such as synthetic data, automated insight generation, panel optimization, etc.
  • Facilitate tech integrations that augment Dynata’s data capabilities and unlock new product opportunities.

5. Cross-functional Leadership & Deal Execution

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across product, sales, engineering, legal and finance to bring partnerships from concept to execution.
  • Serve as the executive owner for each deal lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiation to integration and performance tracking.
  • Ensure each partnership is aligned with Dynata’s long-term strategic objectives and delivers measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or product strategy—ideally in market research, ad tech, data platforms, or SaaS.
  • Strong and trusted relationships with senior leaders across the market research and insights ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-party partnership negotiations involving technology, data, and commercial considerations.
  • Technical fluency with APIs, data platforms, privacy protocols, and software integration models.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and identity resolution.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills; able to operate credibly at both executive and operational levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias toward action and results.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or technical) preferred.
