Job Description

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support an aerospace manufacturing project involving critical composite components. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a high-priority programme, ensuring all parts meet strict compliance and regulatory standards before entering production.

Project Overview
Our client is bringing the manufacture of aerospace composite parts back in-house. This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality documentation (PPAP, APQP, FAIR) is completed, structured, and submitted to meet full compliance requirements. The project involves approximately 50 high-value components, with documentation being a central part of the release process.

Create and complete PPAP, APQP, and FAIR documentation
Format and structure documentation to meet internal and regulatory standards
Support engineering and quality teams in ensuring smooth documentation flow
Manage administrative activities related to part qualification and release
Help maintain traceability and compliance across all submitted records

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related field required
Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, and FAIR processes
Experience in quality or manufacturing engineering within aerospace or similar regulated industry
High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation in a structured way
Confident working in an admin-heavy, documentation-focused role
