Job description

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage various projects for our clients. The ideal candidate will ensure the successful execution of project tasks, align business objectives, coordinate with internal and external teams, and maintain project hygiene and adherence to processes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing technical projects, strong experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies, and using tools like Jira and Confluence. Key attributes include adept communication skills, the ability to adapt to and navigate technical complexities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:


Reporting to our Resource Manager, as a Full-Time Specialist on our team working remotely, you will be integral to the strategic planning and tactical execution of projects. The role demands a proactive individual capable of overseeing the project lifecycle, from conception to deployment, while managing day-to-day project execution effectively. You will bridge multiple workstreams and ensure seamless project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience successfully delivering large, complex infrastructure and software development projects. Pega-related project experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Agile and project management methodologies, project management software, and MS Office Tools.
  • PMP or similar certification is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Act as the key interface between stakeholders and the client's development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps.
  • Conduct demonstrations for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate playback sessions to review project progress. Prepare and present status reports for all levels of management.
  • Generate and present reports on key performance indicators.
  • Track and manage epic milestones.
  • Coordinate with dependency teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks. Escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Align external workstreams with project goals.
  • Document and distribute meeting notes.
  • Maintain adherence to project processes and hygiene standards.
  • Provide support during production phases.
  • Manage and document scope changes.
  • Release Management: Manage release calendars. Document release notes. Act as a subject matter expert for project-related queries. Approve releases. Oversee the build process for releases. Build and manage sprint backlogs. Plan sprint capacities. Groom user stories.
