Mission of our Electrical Verification & Test Engineer is to guarantee the integrity, safety, and optimal performance of electrical systems and equipment through rigorous testing, analysis, and problem-solving. As electrical testing engineers, we provide cutting-edge solutions that adhere to industry standards and regulations, minimizing downtime, reducing risks, and optimizing the efficiency of electrical infrastructure.

Job Description

As Electrical Verification & Test Engineer, you will closely work with the Hardware Engineering Team and you will report directly to our Team Lead Test Engineering. Your day-to-day will also consist of mainly these topics:

Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and design specifications.
Define testing strategies, methodologies, and criteria for different phases of hardware development.
Independently execute complex hardware tests, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
Actively contribute to the development and implementation of automated testing execution.
Apply failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) for risk assessment and mitigation.
Take a role in troubleshooting hardware issues, working closely with design and development teams to resolve problems promptly.
Defining and executing advanced testing methods in cooperation with senior test engineer, i.e. boundary value analysis, stress testing, and environmental testing.
Generate detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate for this role, you come with the following skills and competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Test Engineering, or equivalent
3+ years of proven experience in designing and running tests for mass-produced electronics
Experience with quality tools and industry best practices
Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly around MCU based battery powered systems
Good understanding of advanced electrical circuit design and analysis.
Programming skills (i.e. Python) and test automation experience is a plus
Business fluent in English, German is a plus
