Implementation Specialist

The Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in translating the technical needs of restaurant clients into scalable digital solutions. This position focuses on gathering and interpreting requirements from external vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to configure backend infrastructure and systems. Working closely with developers, designers, and project managers, you’ll ensure the seamless integration of custom websites, mobile apps, and other digital platforms tailored to the restaurant, retail, & hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients, external vendors, and internal teams to identify and document business and technical requirements for custom digital solutions, including websites, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.
• System Configuration & Integration: Lead the planning of backend infrastructure to integrate third-party systems into custom digital products, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with developers, designers, and project managers to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with both client expectations and internal capabilities.
• Vendor & Client Coordination: Serve as the main technical liaison, supporting communication between clients, external vendors, and internal teams to streamline the implementation process and resolve any issues.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Partner with Internal QA resources to oversee the testing of backend systems and integrations, ensuring digital products perform optimally in real-world environments and meet all client specifications.
• Project Management Support: Assist account managers & project managers in scoping, planning, and executing projects by providing technical insights and guidance on system configurations and capabilities.
• Ongoing Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and post-launch support to address any configuration or integration issues, ensuring the continued smooth operation of digital products.

• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of backend infrastructure, APIs, and system integrations, with experience in restaurant technology platforms (POS, online ordering, inventory, etc.) preferred.
• Requirements Analysis: Proven experience in gathering and translating business needs into technical solutions, ideally within a digital product or custom website/mobile app environment.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, developers, and designers to ensure project success.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions under tight deadlines.
• Project Management Insight: Experience in supporting project scoping, planning, and delivery within agile and fast-paced environments.
