Job description

Position : Senior System Engineer - Linux L3
Location : Hyderabad / Bengaluru / Coimbatore / Pan India
Opportunity : Full Time
Shifts : Rotational (including night shift)
Transport: Yes


Requirements:
 
Ø  Deep experience Linux/Unix (e.g. Centos, RHEL, Ubuntu) systems.
Ø  Strong Experience troubleshooting issues with basic environment services and protocols: TCP, HTTP, DNS,
Ø  NTP, LDAP, crond, etc.
Ø  Proficient with Jboss configuration, Setup,,cURL, SSH, yum, ip and other Linux tools.
Ø  Understanding of ITIL terminology like incident and problem.
Ø  Understanding of tomcat and apache.
Ø  Scripting for automation
Ø  Understanding Databases like Oracle and SQL Database.
Ø  Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication. Strong problem solving and reporting
 
skills.
 
Ø  Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE/RHCA Certifications will be a plus.
Ø  Jboss Administration , Configuration
Ø  Middleware Technologies
 
Responsibilities:
 
Ø  Individuals will have to work on Linux Administration and will be involved in demonstrating Linux system administration [L3 Level Support].
Ø  Responsible for managing both Linux Servers as well as Linux based end point devices by providing
Ø  technical support and delivering assigned projects in a timely manner.
Ø  Confirm and troubleshoot systems and service alerts proactively monitor systems and services to
Ø  detect service issues.
Ø  Coordinate maintenance communications.
Ø  Develop and implement instrumentation for monitoring the health and availability of services including
Ø  fault detection, alerting, triage, and recovery (automated and manual).
Ø  Support all aspects of project life cycle through ITIL based Configuration, Change, Service, Incident
Ø  and Problem management.
