Engineer 1– Infrastructure Support - Network

Engineer 1 – Infrastructure Support & operations Network - will report to support & operations Senior Manager and will be part of the team that is responsible for providing support for our core infrastructure components.
This entails:
(1) Network Operations & support and configuration changes.
(2) Partnering with a global team
(3) Preventive measures through regular health checks
(4) monitor the daily operational tasks to ensure MTTR as per the SLA.
Critical Primary Responsibilities:
Support and troubleshooting of the company's network infrastructure and services, including Cisco switches, routers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, Meraki Wireless Network.
• Manage & supervise Store refresh & JCP landscape operational and project task to ensure to meet the project timelines as per the SLA and perform random check post & pre migration of store Network.
Managing resolution of problems and escalating as appropriate. Communicate problems or issues in a timely manager.
• Manage strong relationship with global team and look for any opportunity which can be enabled'
• Ensure the physical health checks for Stores, and JCP landscape, define opportunity & gaps in Network and Focus efforts on automation wherever applicable.
• Identifies faults, raises trouble tickets and provides resolution of complex problem requests.
Escalate, if necessary, ensure all PBI are tracked on regular basis and work towards closer'
• Drives the technical knowledge and ownership for L1 associates.
• Participates in rotational on-call duties to respond to escalated after-hours requests and deployments
Critical Skills & Experiences:
• Minimum 3 Years of Experience supporting a variety of routing and switching technologies.
• Strong knowledge & troubleshooting skills on Cisco switches, Routers, firewalls (Checkpoint & Cisco ASA), Meraki Wireless and Network Migration from traditional network to Meraki is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of commonly used network concepts, protocols and topologies.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN architecture and associated protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and HTTP/S.
• Good understanding of networking – routing, subnets, TCP, IP, Wireless and VLANs.
