Job Function & Responsibilities

• We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Options Trader to join our options trading team
• The ideal candidate would have an interest and experience in options trading. This candidate would work with the existing highly skilled options team and will be charged with helping maintain and extend the firm’s options volatility modeling.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical area such as electrical engineering, computer science, or mathematics 

Required Experience & Skills

• Values teamwork and is capable of thinking independently
• Can communicate effectively while under pressure
• Can adapt to changing situations with ease
• 4+ years of working experience in options trading
• Has demonstrated the ability to use sound judgment while trading
• Proven ability to develop new, profitable trading strategies
• Strong familiarity with options and derivatives 
• Experience developing an automated trading platform 
• Ability to develop options trading strategies
• Track record of conducting and applying quantitative research to options trading
• Track record of integrating alpha signal research into options trading systems
• Track record of taking initiative and owning the outcome of core problems related to a trading system
• In depth knowledge of market microstructure
• In depth understanding of volatility dynamics and volatility modelling
• Index options market making experience a plus
• Candidate is highly proficient in Python and has solid working knowledge of C++

Below is the expected base salary range for this position. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as additional compensation as well as company benefits listed below.

Base Salary Range

• $130,000 - $180,000 USD
