    Job Description

    The primary purpose of the Patient Access Manager for Partner Markets (Israel, CIS+ and Adriatic countries) is to maximize access and uptake for in-line and pipeline brands by ensuring that the market access strategy and tactics are aligned with the country/region business objectives. This role involves local market access and community engagement activities to support the commercialization of company products, focusing on health economic and health political aspects. The Patient Access Manager plays an essential role to, in close collaboration with the Commercial Team, deliver the overall brand market access strategy at the country level for in-line and pipeline products within Hemophilia, Hematology, and Specialty Care areas. The role ensures successful cross-functional collaboration with local representatives (Partner companies), commercial and medical business functions, and other CEERJ/HQ colleagues. 

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and execute the full Price & Reimbursement approval process in Partner markets, including Israel and Adriatic countries, with close cooperation with the CEERJ Commercial Team.
    • Develop market access strategic and tactical plans for in-line and pipeline products to ensure delivery on business objectives.
    • Ensure cross-functional cooperation with CEERJ Commercial & CEE Patient Access teams, as well as CEE & HQ product teams regarding pricing, reimbursement, and value argumentation.
    • Develop and adapt value demonstration tools, such as cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, ensuring timely project delivery through cross-functional collaboration.
    • Lead stakeholder management, including mapping decision-making flows and managing relationships with consultants contracted for specific market access tasks.
    • Work with wider market access and regulatory teams to shape early pipeline access strategy and data generation plans for pipeline assets/indications.
    • Maintain thorough knowledge of the healthcare system, health policy, commissioning process, tendering process, and customer interface relevant to the therapeutic area.
    • Build and maintain a network of influencers and decision-makers to bring external insights and intelligence to Sobi’s decision-making.
    • Identify and anticipate future payer/customer needs, legislative environment changes, constraints, and requirements impacting Sobi and the therapeutic areas.
    • Educate internal colleagues/teams on changes in the external environment and adapt Sobi’s payer strategies accordingly.
    • Manage allocated programs and budgets, reporting to management in accordance with Sobi requirements and standards.

    Qualifications
    • University Degree level education.
    • Proven experience in rare disease/orphan drug market access in Pharma, with insights into Israel, CIS+, and the Balkans being beneficial.
    • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and deliver results on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with experience in market access activities including P&R submissions and HTA.
    • Proven ability to develop and communicate compelling value stories for product negotiations.
    • Strong understanding of payer environment, government affairs, policy, and advocacy.
    • Highly self-driven with the ability to think innovatively and strategically, managing and prioritizing multiple projects independently.
    • Ability to travel as required.
    • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

    Additional Information
    • While this role primarily involves office-based responsibilities, occasional travel may be necessary, primarily for internal meetings, training sessions, or attendance at congresses.
    • Flexibility to be available during weekends and bank-holiday days when required is essential for this role.
