The role
You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer communication across email, SMS, and push channels.
As an Email Marketing & CRM Specialist, your goal is to engage, convert, and retain customers through data-driven, on-brand messaging—while continuously optimizing campaigns and automations to drive revenue and improve customer experience. Your work will directly contribute to overall company performance, including NPS and customer satisfaction.
You will:
- Take full ownership of Miss Amara’s email, SMS, and push marketing channels, with a focus on key performance metrics such as revenue per recipient, open and click-through rates, unsubscribe rates, and total revenue generated. This is a performance-focused role, ideal for someone driven to consistently hit and exceed goals.
- Design and continuously optimize advanced automation flows and customer segmentation strategies. While enhancing Welcome and Abandon Cart flows will be part of the role, the goal is to go far beyond standard setups.
- Lead the planning, creation, and scheduling of all marketing campaigns. Work closely with the Content Manager to ensure every message is aligned with Miss Amara’s brand voice and aesthetic.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience (CX) team to enhance customer communications, using NPS and other feedback to improve messaging strategy.
- Develop detailed briefs for the Content team, using data and past performance insights to guide the creation of high-converting email content.
- Continuously test and experiment with subject lines, CTAs, visuals, layout, and other campaign elements to maximize performance.
- Partner with the Product team to ensure high-priority items and new arrivals receive appropriate visibility in email campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and report on all key email and CRM metrics, using insights to refine future strategies.
The successful candidate
Our new Email Marketing & CRM Specialist will have:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in performance-based email marketing, preferably in eCommerce.
- Skilled in copywriting and creating messages that convert.
- A deep understanding of digital customer behavior and how to drive action through comms.
- Strong communicator who can manage briefs, coordinate across teams, and identify bottlenecks.
- Excellent prioritization and time-management skills—you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Klaviyo or Netcore (strongly preferred).
- Strong technical CRM skills—segmentation, tagging, APIs, integrations, and product feeds.
