We are seeking a manager with strong security and people managing experience. The primary focus of this role is to manage a team of Security Enablement Specialists via mentoring, training, critical issue support, and exemplary leadership while also managing your own queue of support requests from sales, legal and other field teams. You will also work with leaders in Security and other organizations across Adobe to build on our Security Sales Engagement program. Do you enjoy leading, supporting and mentoring a team? We're seeking someone who can coordinate team and organizational planning, emphasize information security and technical proficiency, manage programs, demonstrate business insight, and prioritize detail for timely completion. We are a critical hub for Sales, Legal, Engineering, Compliance, Operation and Marketing teams in presenting Adobe's security posture and overcoming customer security objections and concerns. We assist these teams throughout the sales cycle, helping to close business while accurately representing Adobe security posture.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team responsible for the field by completing security assessments, answering customer security questions, building self-service tools and processes for the field, and assisting Legal in the review and negotiation of contractual security terms
  • Support, set, and deliver on strategic team initiatives to grow our program,
  • Help develop processes and self-service tools that streamline the security review component of the sales cycle
  • Capable and willing to serve in problem-solving for team members on difficult issues and for assistance on contract review requests
  • Ensure that task and responsibilities and are strategically and effectively distributed amongst your team
  • Train new Security Engagement Specialists to optimally perform job functions.
  • Review the output and work of Specialists and provide coaching that will develop their abilities
  • Help team members set business and personal goals that align with broader objectives and evolving role responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to coach and shadow on complicated problems
  • Answer customer questions around information security as they pertain to Adobe's individual applications and overall security posture
  • Provide support to sales organizations by speaking expertly and knowledgeably about Adobe's information security control framework
  • Assist Legal with security language and terms in contract negotiations
  • Advise customers as to how our security controls align with applicable security compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001)
  • Answer information gathering security questionnaires to support the sales process
  • Help maintain our request queue and knowledge bases
  • Represent Adobe's information security team as a leader on sales calls with customers

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A Computer Science Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in cyber security
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to develop teams and teach new skills
  • Demonstrated skills for effectively leading others to achieve objectives
  • Being a highly qualified professional who is innovative, organized, and consistent. The ideal candidate will have a strong advertising industry knowledge, be able to manage expectations and the relationships with a diverse set of partners, and flex between the strategic and the tactical understanding
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to take care of high priority, time-sensitive issues
  • Dependability: Meet commitments, work independently, accept accountability, be adaptable to change, set personal standards, and stay focused under pressure
  • Ability to articulate the value of industry-wide software security concepts such as encryption, authentication and authorization, cross domain protection, security vulnerabilities and testing strategies
  • Familiarity with security industry certifications such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II and an ability to understand and articulate security controls within the different domains.
  • Legal/contract experience
  • Management trainings and/or certifications a plus
  • Jira and RFPIO fluency a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $117,000 -- $248,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
