Senior Vice President - APAC

upstream is seeking a highly strategic Senior Vice President to lead our APAC business expansion, with a focus on driving growth in the Indian subcontinent and beyond. About the Role

The Senior Vice President - APAC will be responsible for building and executing upstream’s expansion strategy across the APAC region, with a particular focus on leveraging expertise in the Indian subcontinent. This role is 100% remote and designed for a senior leader who has a multicultural understanding of regional markets, especially the diverse dynamics of India and the surrounding regions. The SVP will drive revenue growth, build strategic relationships, and ensure the successful development of upstream’s regional business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute upstream’s APAC expansion strategy, with a focus on leveraging expertise in the Indian subcontinent.
• Own revenue growth, market development, and performance for the APAC region.
• Build and mentor a local and multicultural team to deliver on business objectives and customer success.
• Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, customers, and business influencers within APAC.
• Implement tailored go-to-market strategies for the region, ensuring alignment with local market needs and trends.
• Provide insights on regional industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs.

Your Experience & Skills

• Over 12 years of senior leadership experience, particularly in SaaS, enterprise solutions, or digital transformation.
• Proven track record of successfully managing businesses and leading teams within the APAC region, particularly with experience in India and the Indian subcontinent.
• Multicultural understanding and a deep appreciation for the unique business dynamics in the Indian subcontinent, with strong market knowledge in India and surrounding markets.
• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, scale operations, and build a high-performing team.
• Exceptional leadership and strategic thinking, with a focus on delivering results in a diverse, fast-paced environment
